What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site saves in your browser to remember information between visits. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work, others are used for profiling or marketing. CalcolaFerie sets none: it only uses the technical local storage described below.

Cookies and storage used by this site

No cookie for the language: it depends only on the page address (for example /en for English), so there is nothing to remember.

calcolaferie_config: not a cookie, but browser localStorage used to save your planner settings (leave budget, closure dates, patron saint day, selected dates), updated each time you change your scenario so it is there on your next visit. It stays in your browser until you clear it.

calcolaferie_theme and calcolaferie_style: browser localStorage, written only when you choose the theme (light or dark) or the site style from the menu at the top. They hold only that choice, no identifying data, and stay in your browser until you delete them.

Service worker cache (calcolaferie-shell-v1): not a cookie but the browser cache, where a service worker keeps a copy of the home page, the manifest, the icons and the pages you visit, so the site works offline. It is written on the first visit, holds no personal data and is cleared with the site's data.

Third-party cookies

CalcolaFerie sets no tracking, advertising, or profiling cookies and does not use Google Analytics. Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, used for aggregate visit and performance statistics, set no cookies. The site loads no resources from third-party domains and contains no affiliate links. If you open a link in the “Services” menu you leave CalcolaFerie: from then on the external site may set its own cookies on its domain under its own notice, and CalcolaFerie has no control over them.

Why we don't ask for consent

The calcolaferie_config, calcolaferie_theme and calcolaferie_style localStorage entries are technical storage explicitly requested by you (saved settings, choice of theme and style), exempt from prior consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and the guidance of the Italian Data Protection Authority. Since we install no profiling or third-party cookies ourselves, no accept/reject banner is required.

How to manage cookies and storage

You can clear or block cookies and localStorage at any time from your browser settings. Note that clearing calcolaferie_config removes your locally saved planner settings. Clearing calcolaferie_theme and calcolaferie_style puts the site back on the default theme and style.
